The Spiteful Nine

Now we go on the offensive.

I want to know what the Premier League position is in all this ?

Did the Premier League know beforehand, that 8 Teams had penned a letter defaming a fellow Premier League member.Interfering in independent legal due process, that had nothing to do with them what so ever.Other than they had self interest in the negative ruling being upheld against City.

That said 8 teams devoid of any facts.Wrongly assumed we were "guilty" ,even though it was clear we were appealing the ruling at CAS.

In my opinion what they did was no different to trying to "Tap up a Jury" before criminal proceedings.

Deliberately trying to precipitate a negative out come before the arbitration had begun.

Imploring CAS to uphold a wrongful ruling against us.For nothing more than their own selfish interests.
If the arbitrators were aware of the letter, it was evidence to support any claim by City that the whole thing was an attempt by rivals to restrict fair trade.

I can see why they are worried, COVID will have hit their finances quite hard and they will have to seriously adjust their transfer budgets. This was their only chance to stay on top. City won’t have such issues and can basically go about it as business as usual. no lucrative pre season tours not fans I the stadiums till it’s safe

as for jose, his team are doing utter wank and he will get binned off soon and he’ll fuck off into the sunset once again.

think about it for a moment. Financially things are grim and they know it and are doing all they can to hold us back. This is why we need and exceptional summer.

With that said then they should all shut the fuck up before they have to spend more recruiting expensive lawyers.

Samuel is clearly being briefed by City, as is Ziegler. What was it Khaldoon said? Something like "When they talk about us, we know"
Why are they being briefed? They're only saying what's obvious for those who want the truth.

It was me. And now is the time, if it's going to happen. And looking at the bitterness coming out of Anfield, I think they know what's coming.

I can't see we have any other choice but to go for the jugular. They aren't even hiding their campaign against us and now they've driven it into the public domain. I can't see how either side can back down now..

Martin Samuel's latest on the secret planning discussions in the top of the PL:
"Wolves, having signed the original letter to CAS, are understood not to have been part of Monday's group call. Everton and Sheffield United were always outside the conversation. Why would they lobby to wrap ambitious clubs in red tape, stunting their growth and leaving them at the mercy of predators?"

That makes sense.
The original letter - all the clubs had a benefit to gain if City were banned. Pro-them, rather than anti-City. Misjudged though.

That leaves only Leicester who aren't a usual suspect, and they obviously desperately want to be in the CL.

If we have the means to hit them hard then we have to do it.

I would love to think we have some good dirt on some of these clubs. No way they are squeaky clean when it comes to FFP. If only there was a publication who had the balls to scrutinize some of the losses that were ratified despite looking dodgy.

They have a bloody cheek given their checkered past with FFP.

If Leicester get into the CL next season I’d love to know if they have there on house in order to pass FFP. Has it been suspended or relaxed

I expect they'd be fine, but I don't think it applies to them for next season, as they've not been in Europe for a couple of years. The FFP assessment would not be done prior to the season starting.
