As a squad I think it is stronger than The Rags, and Liverpools.

Good squad. But modric is out, King, Woodgate and Dawson have there injuries. As does Bale, but if they do all get fit. They have as much chance as us yes

As much as i hate spurs and 'arry i'd love to see the top 4 look like this at the end of the season chelsea, arsenal, city, spuds.

Just so long as we finish ahead of them.

and you point is what??

It's nowhere near as strong as any other team in the top 4, but then again they are not in europe so it doesn't have to be

Very important for them that Palacios stays fit as he is their only combative midfielder. They also have an on-going problem in central defence with Ledley King struggling week by week. You need a settled defece, and I don't think they are going to get that if King remains central to their team.

You have to remember that if needs be we can probably go out and spend £50m-£75m in the january transfer window, can they?

No other team in the PL is capable of that.

I really think Spurs are a threat to the top 4. If they can keep Woodgate fit for a large part of the season and swap King and Dawson about that should be pretty solid at the back. Their 4 strikers are as good a group of strikers there is, prob with the exception of us.

Okay Liverpool have Torres and Gerrard arguably the best players in their positions in the Prem, even the world, and as a pairing they are as good as it gets! Arsenal have Arshavin who is so good its sick and Fabregas who is probabaly the best passer of the ball in the Prem! But over the whole squads i think City and Spurs are better than Lpool and Arsenal!

United, although weeker than last season are still stronger than Liverpool and Arsenal and i think will be between 3-9 points behind Chelsea for the title! But Lpool and Arse really will be looking over their shoulders at City and Spurs and i think 3rd-5th could easily be in any order come May!

Everything coming out of the club suggests we won't be spending big again any time soon, so don't assume we will. Lets consolidate this squad now and get it performing week in week out while developing the younger talent we have.

I disagree. As a squad, I think they are stronger than Liverpool - it was demonstrated to be so on the first day of the season, not because Spurs won, but because at the end of the game Spurs had better options from the bench than the Pool did.

Where Liverpool are stronger is that they are very well drilled, very determined and experienced, and have 3 truly world class players (Masch, Gerrard, Torres) which Spurs do not. So probably Liverpool's first XI is better. But squad? No. Spurs have the better, deeper options.

Having said that, I do agree about Palacios. He is the one player they have no replacement for. But most teams have one of them - Rooney, Fabregas (?), Drogba, Ireland, etc. Even with big squads, there is always a weakness.

I think they're overrated as always and people are just whacking off over them because they've had a good start and the press seem to love appy arry

Gomes is one of the worst keepers in the league. Cudicini ain't what he used to be and the fact gomes is in front of him says it all

Charlie is far too slow for the prem and a complete liability at right back. He's been found out on numerous occaisons and will continue to do so.

Woodgate and Dawson? Meh. Average

Ledley King is quality and they seem to be a different team with him in, but he'll only play a limited amount of games with him in the team

Assou-ekotto is shit I don't care how good a strike the goal against Liverpool was.

Lennon is a primitive player, a poor mans sweep. His form will fade

Palacios isn't bad, but isn't that good either. People are blowing smoke out of his arse but he isn't that great at all.

Modric is a quality footballer, but a bit lightweight and you can get at him. Keane hasn't been able to hit a cows arse with a banjo for a while. Defoe is a good player. Crouch and Pavlychenko are at the same level as a number of strikers in the prem (Bent, Yakubu, Saha, Johnson, Davies etc)

Spurs haven't got any top top talents in the same league as Robbie, Tevez, Ade, Gerrard, Fabregas, Drogba etc, they've just got a squad full of decent ish players IMO
