The 'State' of play

Getting a bit cheesed off now.

When you look at whats happend so far this transfer window and look at what was supposed to happen its not good.
Especially considering MH said we would be doing business early in the window.

RSC - another option but not really added strike power
GB - Yeah, good addition. No probs here.
Eto - Am I the only opne who can see that we are bing used by him? He dosnt want to play for us and will never come.
Tevez - Getting very worrying. Yeah ive heard all the 'were just tying up the paperwork with the FA posts' but Tevez has said nothing at all, MH has only said we would like him and its a long time since talkshite said owt on him.
Very very worrying. Its this week, its next week, itll be on Monday...etc etc. Not looking good.

JT - Why embarrass ourselves. Again JT's agent will just use us to drive up his pay. He will NEVER come to us. MH or GC needs to stop getting deliousions of grandiour.

Villa - dont be silly. Barely even a rumor.

Point is we are barely any stronger than last year and have just dont a whole lot of talking.
This is causing real concern. Were clearly struggling to get players of the caliber we want as MH wanted all the tranfsers sorting early and this hasnt happened.

All this 'were just worrying for nothing' postsers are not being realistic.
Even the rags are now starting to be linked with the likes of Hunilar (sorry for spelling) if they get him thats three signings for them and we were only talking the piss last week.

I think we all need to take our blue-tinted glasses off and be really concerned.

forever the optimist,eh........why not shut up and let things happen....

We've already signed 2 very good players and a decent squad player.

Stop seeing your arses like spoilt rag bastards or scruffy scouse shits. We're City, try to have some dignity please.

How many times in the past have we let our players go while plan to replacing them, only for nothing to happen.

This year (for the first time I can remember) we are buying before we sell. Anyone remember the Sunderland rumor last year? Needed the money to pay wages?

Time for people to understand that it takes a while to sort out big deals, Cook has to prove himself, if he doesn’t land a big target this window then there will be questions asked but for now live the dream.

Last year we would have been in for Owen :S

Why start a thread like this if you have not got a clue about football and how things work, we are in the best position we have been for years, just step back and think about it before posting shite like this. I think you must realise how wrong you are with the responses you have got.

I would agree that this is the strongest city side in years and should be good enough already for top 7.

Keegan's side in his first year in the prem was a good one, but only Anelka could walk straight back into the first team now.
And perhaps Distin, but only because we don't have a left sided centre back. (until hopefully we sign Lescott).
Ali, Berko, James, Goat all at their best would find it hard to get in the current side. As would Gio, Uwe, Quinn,

If we do sign Lescott, I would like to see how Ned does in his real position of RCB. He was superb when he had a decent run in the side towards the end of last season.

these doom and gloom 'im getting worried/cheesed off' posts are ridiculous.
when pearce was in charge with no money and we did bugger all in the window, i was worried.
a shit load of money comes along and if people aren't signed pronto people shit themselves!
think i speak for a few of us when i say, get a grip!

BAN ANY NEGATIVE POSTERS!!!!!!......or at least keep your shit to yourselves.....

For pity sake it's 53 days until the window closes WHY all this negativity?
We are in the best situation we have ever been in since I started to watch in 1955.................... People please get real!
