The Stones & Silva Pop up Pub

Called in for a quick pint again yesterday with some people who hadn't been down the first night. Great atmosphere, lots of blues taking pictures for each other and a few Johnny Stones chants going on etc. For me it typifies the best side of the club and fans. Will be rammed today I'm sure, but hope everyone who wants to go gets chance. Whoever at the club came up with the idea deserves a pay rise.

Also shout out to the Star and Garter and City staff, hope long term it brings some additional money in for the pub.
 
Fans were being interviewed outside the pub yesterday, I believe it was by an organisation called Opta

Anyone know where they can be found?

I had a chuckle to myself the other day, thinking about Martin, the long running owner who fought hard against British Rail to keep the pub from demolision and who passed away last year. Liverpool fan lol

Is anyone there now?

Thinking of heading into town especially to visit this place …. as I’m assuming everyone will be at boozers with beer gardens do it will be quiet

I get emotional watching our players get emotional, it’s amazing in a day and age full of mercenary’s to see players with such an attachment to the club. Very few of them were born blues but you can tell they hold our club very very close to their hearts
