The Sun story on reduced Prem/Extended Champs League

Basically a smaller Prem League with the top 8 (half the teams in it for fucks sake) going into a champions league (weird name for a top 8 competition) and then playing on Sat/Sun in place of the lost games.
More say for the big clubs on how the game is run.
More say for the big clubs on how the money is handed out.

etc etc...

In other words...A European League replacing a national league. Why do they think the real fans will watch this?
