A friend of mine mentioned the other day. As we all know Mancini was a friend of sven and has worked under him and is still in contact. This is no secret.

Do you think this could be the reason for the re emergence of a few of svens signings, petrov and garrido.

I think its a given that Mancini, (or Mankini as Talksport have so affectionately named him), will have spoken to Svennis. I wouldn't be surprised, especially with the Italy connection, if Bojinov came back soon, rather than make his move permanent. I have a feeling Mancini prefers the small, bull-like striker compared to the tall Adebayor/Santa Cruz.

Could be but I suspect it's more to do with starting with a clean slate and being seen to avoid preconceptions, good management.

i think mancini will play any player no matter which signing it is if he think its good enoght .... the Hughes donkey played only his signings

Not to menton a huge injury list.

We look a lot like Sven's team did now. More comfortable and patient in posession, no hoofing the ball up every 2 mins meaning we don't have to do as much defending. I'm loving it.

No doubt MB, although IMO everyone else would have to be dead or worse before whatsisname would have played Garrido.

If it's true that Hughes and his team left no imformation on the players, it wouldn't shock me at all if he has spoken with Sven about his signings and the players already at the club(and perhaps SWP too).

There is more in this.
Kidd was assistant to England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson from January 2003 to May 2004.
Robertos son Filippo Manicini was in the City team on loan during 2008, during SGE.
Roberto himself was assistent to SGE in Italy.

Cook might feel little bit unsecure now, since he was the one to install MH, instead of SGE.
What goes around comes around.

I would not be surprised if SGE will be Cooks sucessor soon.
