Not sure if this has been posted before but it's 2012, not the late 70's, Regan and Carter are played by Ray Winstone and Plan B, not John Thaw and Dennis Waterman, there is no Sweeney theme tune - so how can they call this the Sweeney? I just hope there are a few gratuitous shots of topless women jumping out of bed when their doors get smashed in (in the literal sense).

My favourite Sweeney quotes of all time:

"Put 'em away darling"

"You're nicked, tinkerbell"

"We're the Sweeney son, and we haven't had any dinner."

Also the scene when they have a scrap with a black guy leaving them both gasping for air , then Carter says to regan "Fancy a fag gov"

"The hairs on my wooden leg tell me that something is up."

Morning bud! Times up here; back in Manc as of 4th September. Cheers for the steer last year.

(after finding the body of a nightwatchmen who had been killed by robbers)
"He was sixty-three, five foot four and asthmatic - he must have really* given them a bad time."
