Great idea, although I'm still scarred by the memory of Les Gray from Mud singing 'Lonely This Christmas' to a ventriloquist's dummy on TOTP ;-)

Freaked me out when I was a kid.
yeah, bit strange that 1,remember it well,
ok i'll kick it off Sue

Saw them at the Free trade Hall, they took their own music seriously and they came across as a heavy rock band, thats when you could hear for the screaming girls.lol

Great example of them 'live' mate.....check the break on 1:48...the band are tighter than a gnat's arse and I have seen SO many 'name' drummers, and Mick Tucker is a powerhouse equal to all I have seen bar Bonzo....

I've got a Sweet album up in my loft somewhere gathering dust.
Sweet Fanny Adams. (sweet fa)
I think I'll go up and dust it off. I remember a track off it called Peppermint twist was quite a good'un.
Cooperman

..brings back some memories.........fantastic group . I had pictures of them all over my bedroom wall. in my early teens.
