I've felt the game was corrupt for a while now, but to read about how and why certain players moved to certain clubs and so on reduces any remaining childhood innocence I had left from the memories of watching these players sign for clubs, score goals, to me it was all real and truthful, being a little kid when the EPL was formed.
Yet money is king and alongside this doping is another thing added to the list of corruption.
Seeing great things happen whilst watching the "sport" and thinking "hey this is magic, this is real"
To then find out its just one big fairy tale and just as truthful as say the other stuff I watched as a kid like cartoons.
It's probably never been clean, and my naivety shines through.

Is there nothing we can do as fans?.
I've always thought it was corrupt since I was a kid. Far too many shady decisions against us and favouring other teams. Not just in games including us but as a neutral watching other games some things just don't add up.
If there was ever a proper investigation from top to bottom I'm sure it would all be exposed. They're must be some whistle blowers ready to talk.
The game is corrupt. Managers, players, refs.... there all at it.
David Gill at the top table making desicion that hinder his clubs main rivals but help his club. That's just unreal how blatantly corrupt it is. And it's just accepted, all of it. Because there is nothing we can do, because were accused of being paronoid or bitter blues.
I honestly feel like emailing the club and telling them how I feel as a fan. I know it's not our club that's been implicated. But I've had a season ticket for nearly 20 years and this sort of stuff is making me despise the game. I know we as a club are fucking unreal at the moment. But the more I think about this corruption stuff the more angry I get and just feel like packing it all in.
I know some will think I'm being a soft arse. But can you hoestly see anything being done. These latest allegations will get as much limelight as the Halsey tweet the other week. The dossier that the telegraph was handed but didn't act upon. The panorama program on Ferguson, his football agent son, bungs... etc. Nothing ever happens. One big brush under one big carpet.
And us fans are just expected to carry on putting our money in, because it all evens out over the season. Bollocks

I'd imagine it's because the meaning of other manager's is just Gossip. Allardyce was actually on film, so easy to do. I'd like to know the name of the manager who would get a player an £8k pay rise, but only if he got £4k back himself. What a leech.Why have they not outed the other managers? Must leave themselves vulnerable if they did. this?

I once heard a Scottish international say that thiswas common practice abroad, so I'm hardly surprised that it happens in the UK.

I'm guessing this is going to be the same, as it's just the word of an agent, so basically just gossip. The only hope we have is that someone will leak the interview.
