Anyone else watch this? I think its one of the funniest things i have watched in a while and i'm gutted its now finished.

Malcolm Tucker is just a fountain of brilliant quotes.

"He's about as useful as a marzipan dildo"

"We're going to use the stick and carrot approach. First i'm going to shove the carrot up his arse, followed by the stick, followed by another carrot"

"My neice is funnier than you and she makes jokes about poo"

"What the fuck is this, tinker tailor soldier twat?"

"Feet off the furniture, you Oxbridge twat. You're not in a punt now."

The last few minutes of the penultimate episode where tucker does his speech to the inquiry is one of the finest pieces of television i’ve ever seen. I enjoyed the last ever episode on Saturday but kind of wish they hadn’t done it – the inquiry episode finale was the perfect way to round things off.
It was a magnificent piece of social commentary but it was absolutely hilarious as well which you don’t often get

I agree, i think the hour long inquiry was the perfect way to end things, but i suppose they had to see the end of Tucker and Stewart Pearson as closure on things.

The writers havent ruled out some one off specials. While i think it could go on, finishing now does preserve it. The Yes Primeminster of this century for me, clever, witty and i should imagine quite close to the truth.

As much as i love it i hope they don’t do any more even just a one off special. I think it’s done now. It reached its pinnacle with the inquiry.
I think the genius of the latest series is that tucker isn’t actually in it all that much but his presence is felt throughout. You don’t see him on screen – you just see the consequences of his actions on other people. Absolutely fantastic programme

Has anyone watched Veep?

Glenns farewell rant with this line to Fergus: "In the last two years you've bent like a human fucking palm tree, swaying to the gup of these six-toed, born-to-rule ponyfuckers." had me in stitches along with stuart's description of the Tory party as a house built on a foundation of cunts
