The Titanic

I just have this image of a line flopping about in the water and maybe a small area it can attach to..is it magnetic ??..In truth I do feel very sad for the individuals and their families..an absolute hell on earth..there is a bit of me that thinks that certain individuals have perhaps achieved so much in their lives, make risky undertakings like these as a stimulation..it is like the freeclimbers, can barely watch it on TV..the bloke who came down from the edge of space and his line got tangled..ffuck me, have done most things in life but would never put my life or families life at risk.
The bloke who held the world record for being hit by lightning (4 times) shot himself.

Breaking News.

We've just heard the size of the search area has expanded - and Capt. Frederick has likened it to twice the size of the US state of Conneticut.

He says officials and rescuers are having to factor in sea changes and currents.

"There is an enormous complexity of it being so far offshore," he adds.

10,000 square miles of water. A larger area than the whole of Wales.

I don't see any chance of this ending well.

It appears so mate.

Part of me is hoping that they are making it look more difficult so when they eventually do save them it will look like an even more gargantuan effort.

What if the sub didn't land on the sea bed on it's floor... it could have nose dived and landed vertically or upside down... if those poor people are still alive it's best not to try and imagine the hell they could be going through

Me neither. As someone else said, it took 70 odd years to find a massive vessel like the Titanic. I know technology is in a different world now, and I understand the submersible might have "popped" up somewhere but this whole landscape is enormous.
