Genuinely heard the conspiracy today that the titanic never sunk, and that this disappearance of the submersible is the billionaire’s way of running off with his money and faking his death. I pointed out that the titanic part of his conspiracy is irrelevant to his point, but he said that it was an important part of the conspiracy. I don’t think he’s grasped it sunk in 1912. Reckons if it wasn’t a fake scenario, they’d have put a GPS beacon on the top of the submersible as they’re about £35 on Amazon.Anyone give this thread 36hrs tops before it turns into a tapping sound based conspiracy theory pile of shit, or not even that long?
That is fine, of course those close would care , the point is because this has been on the news some think the genreal public should care and also have sympathy for idiots who took unecessary risks because they could afford to.You're right, you wouldn't make the six o'clock news. But this did, primarily because it involved the titanic, which many have a morbid fascination with, and also because there was a real chance the people on board were about to suffer an agonising death. It was always going to be headline news. You suggested people wouldn't be bothered if you fell to your death from a ladder, which is nonsensical. Because the people close to you would surely be cut up.
Blink 182Even the one at the Blink 182 concert, mind you, he is a hell of a lot richer now
Why, did he borrow your ladder?I'd care.
Or rapid compression, even?Well we know the body wouldn’t be crushed like a tin can as scientists have done these experiments - below is an alligator they dropped to the bottom of the ocean and externally the appearance is not affected, now of course it’s an alligator not a human, but the effects would be the same externally - of course internally as said your rib cage would cave in and your thoracic cavity would be pulp.
Rapid decompression is probably the wrong term - rapid change of pressure more accurate!
To be honest I doubt they would have had chance to blink, let alone know what was going on. Probably as instant as it gets.Do dangerous shit, expect dangerous consequences.
Wouldn’t be a nice way to go but about 170,000 people die in the world every day and thousands will be more horrific than this.
Lol !!I would have preferred the lack of oxygen, I imagine that's fairly peaceful and I probably could have written one last message to family
