the dippers have took 30pts from 42 in that same period.
But all of a sudden the media world would have us believe that they are the form team and we are wobbling.

The fact we have taken 40 points from 42 and are only 6 points ahead (Liverpool will smash Leeds) is testament to how good they are tbf. I think the odds are ludicrous at the moment personally, I would say it’s 65/35 in city’s favour but with injuries, COVID etc it can all change very quickly.

We had posters adamant they would slip up when mane and salah went away but instead they closed the gap with us dropping points at saints.

Agreed, it’s just a driven narrative to support people still being intrigued at an outcome, which when dissected, doesn’t support the reality…..

The dippers could, at a push, win 13 out of the 15 remaining, however do I think they will? Not on the premise of form they’ve shown thus far. Will city make 30 pts from the 42 available? I’d say absolutely on combined data under Peps tenure!

The difference this time is they have depth as well. Obviously we have more experience when it comes to seeing it across the line in title races, but we'll have to be careful is all. Last couple games we haven't been at our best, when we pick form again (I know we won yesterday but still) then it'll be a long day for the rest.

There was still a bit of panicking about the rags this time last year! It’s what we do best. Panic. Fortunately, Pep and the players don’t!

Before Liverpool beat Leicester the percentage chance of City and Liverpool winning the league was 83% vs 16% with every other team in total providing the remains 1%. The predicted gap was 8 points.

After the game its now 83% vs 17% and 0% (rounding) and still 8 points.

Nothing significant changed as Liverpool were expected to beat Leicester at home.

Arsenal beating Wolves away was more of an upset increasing the expected gap between Arsenal and United from 3 points to 5 In the battle for 4th.

If I had to guess know I'd say they'll finish on 89 points which would allow us to lose 4 of our remaining 14. The city inside me gets worried but the common sense of us having pep says there's nothing to worry about

Said before and say again 92 pts will be enough,10 wins,2 draws,2 defeats from our 14 games will do it.Liverpool would need 14 wins and 1 defeat from there 15 games no chance.
