Liverpool have to slip up in at least one game, but if they don't then they will have bloody deserved the title, presuming we don't slip up that is
Leeds have beat Norwich and Watford recently which is expected.I’m not sure about that. They’ve only got one more game before they play us and that is v Palace, which they could very easily get zero points from.
I think villa at home last game should be straight forward.Gerrard will do everything possible to take some points off us
Gerrard turning them over would be hilarious tbh.Corresponding fixtures last year:
City Liverpool Brighton (H)
Won 1-0 United (H)
Drawn 0-0 Watford (H)
Didn't play last year.
Won 14/14 since the takeover. Everton
Lost 2-0
Leeds (A)
Drawn 1-1 Newcastle (A)
Drawn 0-0 Newcastle (H)
Won 2-0 Spurs (H)
Won 2-1 Wolves (A)
Won 3-1 Villa (A)
Lost 7-2 West Ham (A)
Drawn 1-1 Southampton (A)
Lost 1-0 Aston Villa (H)
Won 2-0 Wolves (H)
Won 4-0
Team Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Diff Points City 6 4 2 0 10 3 +7 14 Liverpool 7 2 2 3 8 11 -3 8
Obviously it's tough to see Liverpool doing that badly again but puts into context that we can't expect both of us to just steamroll the opposition.
Would make the draw on Sunday the optimum result. Both teams will win all their remaining games imo.
Usually, as in winning the title three out of the last four seasons?I think the Bernardo v Palace from a yard out and Mahrez misses will cost us to be honest.
Far too profligate in front of goal. And it usually comes back to haunt us.
