Not sure it’s as difficult as the 98/97 season with the finale at Brighton but agree with the principle. That season was so tough mentally for me as a fan and I lost a load of money betting on scousers.
Can only imagine the permanent mental scars those LiVARpool players felt and are still feeling!

Well the Dipper havent won at the Etihad for six seasons in the league , and they wont do it this year , so they can only get a maximum of 93 points and they are not going to win their last 16 games on the bounce , 84 points will win it or in other words we need to win eight of our last fourteen games.
Think the bookies have got it right.

Since we're making up results that haven't happened it's a 9 point gap as we'll thrash the dippers.

Who is the guy one here who does the league table and colour codes it with teams who can no longer catch us?
Can't be too long until the bottom 3 can no longer catch us.
 
If the scousers drop points before we do I think it's practically over, but if they can manage to replicate us and go on a huge winning streak anything can happen.

Let's see if they have the bottle for it

You couldn’t hand pick a better set of fixtures for them. We have some real tricky games coming up in our next 4: Norwich A, spurs H, Everton A, United H.

Spurs - we seem cursed against them at times. Conte will make it tough.
united - can’t remember last time we beat them at home
everton - always tough place to go and under lampard the ground will be rocking.
Norwich - should be Ok but have won 3 of their last 4.

If the gap is still 6 points after those fixtures I would start to become very confident. As it is still a lot of work to be done.

I think if we at least draw with Norwich this weekend they can’t mathematically catch us. Once one team falls like that, and you keep winning, it’s amazing how quickly others do too.
 
Think we need 90 points Liverpool with there new signing jota playing well and Salah they ain’t losing many games. When you look at there last premier game and the officials giving the game on a plate that’s why they will not lose many and we have to not get beat by them at home.
