Simple.

We's still be 8 points in front if we hadn't f*cked up against Southampton, Spurs, and Palace.

No matter if they had kept on winning, if we'd have done the same, they wouldn't have caught us.

The one thing that has definitely changed is the depth of the respective squads and whereas they've now got a decent bench, we can't get away from the fact that we allowed Aguero to retire and then rather than buy a direct replacement we went the other way and sold Torres.
Long term, we'll probably strengthen in the Summer, but currently we're a bit light, and it feels as though Zinchenko, Ake, and Fernandinho are either not good enough or past their best.

well, 27-27 points for both clubs to collect.

70 City, 69 Pool, , GD will favour them in the end, hard to see otherwise, so all they need really is 1 more point than us.
them getting Diaz in January and us spending big on Grealish, I think this will be the difference one has already won matches for them, Grealish is "playing well" but will not give us what we miss the most what is clinical finishing, actually he is the least likely to score in the team pretty much from the attacking players. creating chances is great but did we had an issue in that department? I dont think we did and we dont create much better/more chances even if we do nobody there to finish them.

Arsenal away was their hardest game apart from City-Pool, and they didnt look much troubled today.

dont even get me started on those who say United, Pool, Everton will take anything off them. thats 9 points for Pool 100%.

my fear is City will get 88-89-90 points and can see them getting 90-91-92.
Good post although I thought Arsenal had the better of the first half but 2 mistakes and its 2 goals.

I think we may well now have to win ALL our remaining games and not lose to Liverpool. They look like they are on a run and maybe only us can stop them.

I think we will improve dramatically over the summer, but Liverpool have the Salah situation to resolve one way or the other.

Allow Aguero to retire?

Burnley (A) Win
Liverpool (H) Win
Wolves (A) Draw
Watford (H) Win
Leeds (A) Win
Newcastle (H) Win
West Ham (A) Draw
Aston Villa (H) Win

Brighton (H) Win

9 to go 7 wins & 2 draws

You know it isn't going to happen like that, so why make it up?

Why do people make up pointless predictions.

Hilarious!

I trust Pep and this team of players to give it a very, very good go. Despite everything, Liverpool have less room to maneuver than us. One draw and a loss at our place and we are cruising. Not where I'd like to have been in January, but I think the team will put up a proper fight now.

They always play like a shit but they are so lucky. That's unbelievable. I'm tired of this. I hate competing with them, that's sucks.

We made 3 bids for Kane. Levy turned them all down. Kane wanted to sign for City. We tried to buy kane.
