We have also conceded the least amount of goals, all this when they’ve got the best GK along with the greatest ever cb to play the game . And the two best fullbacks in the world .

youve gotta laugh especially when we’ve outscored the best front 5 the world as ever seen as well all whilst having no striker
 
For some daft reason keep remembering a game against Villa in February 1976. We were one down at HT brought on Tommy Booth with ten minutes to go, he scored twice late on and we won 2 1.
What has this got to do with Saturday ? F**k all really just made me think be patient and it will all come right.

Trade you and maybe upgrade you, Keegan's team one Boxing Day game v. Villa when Benarbia came on at 1-1, made a goal (for Marc Vivien Foe, i think) and scored another himself with a brilliant diving header.
But City won't leave it late on Sunday, they'll have it won by half time.
 
I just cannot fathom a situation in which we have another QPR... We are a different side with a different mentality and have "been there done that" so I'm hoping we score early and party. (but not like Pablo early where we still made a mess of things lol)

We seem to still like to do things the hard way though so who knows

It was down to Yaya going off that we went to pot that day. We looked calm and in total control when he was on the pitch and had he not gone off we’d have probably strolled to a 3-0 win.

We’re on 90 points with a game to play. We’ve got 4 points more than last season when we cruised to the title. The fact that title isn’t dead and buried is down to our rival not dropping many points, not any failings on our part.

Agree with this wholeheartedly. It's annoying as hell that we are without any shadow of a doubt thee best team in Europe and have been for a number of years. The fact that we have played so well and worked so hard only to capitulate at certain key moments resulting in either titles being made harder than they should have been or seen Champions League success snatched away from us by lesser teams is so darn annoying. Some will blame Pep, others individual players, others mentality, whatever the reason it is frustrating. I do think it's a learning curve and eventually (hopefully next season) we will get that CL monkey off of our backs and start proving that we really are the very best footballing team ever to exist.

Although maybe I'm being too demanding and as others have said, it's just part and parcel of being at an elite level against other elite level clubs, margins for error are much smaller and are magnified if/when they materialise

We have definitely made it harder than it should've been.

Since January we've let points go in the home games against Spurs and liverpool and Southampton and Palace away.

But here we are, we've got a home game left against a lower mid table team to win the league, i'd have taken that scenario last August.

And West Ham but to be honest you can’t knock our form. One loss since October and mostly wins. It’s title winning form. Liverpool’s form has been slightly better though hence the reason they have caught up. Hopefully we have done enough and will see it through!
