If we were to win every game, we'd have 94 points. I just don't see Arsenal being good enough to get 94 points from a standing start of being 5th last season. Ignore some of the recent seasons and that would have been the 2nd highest total in PL history. Fair play to them if they get that, I just don't see it.

We may drop points due to the amount of games to fit in, especially if we beat Bayern, but I still think there are more twists to come. My hope is by the time we play Brighton, they've got one eye on their upcoming cup final

Question is, whose position would you rather be in now? I prefer ours.

I basically expect both teams to win their remaining home games - I think you can see this as a straight shoot out of away games and boil it down to, would you rather:

Brighton, Brentford, Fulham and Everton (starting 3 pts. back but better GD)
OR
City, Newcastle, West Ham, Forest (with a 3 pt. head start but worse GD)

Some would say points in the bank are the most important. I would say absolutely fuck the idea of playing away at the Etihad, St. James Park and two relegation embattled sides with decent home records.

Brentford and Fulham could work in our favour if they have little to play for. Brighton and Everton undoubtedly tough games.

It's basically anybody's game at this point but I would just rather be us by a hair.

Game on , the Dippers battered the Goons and they scraped a point , i expect us to also batter them and Newcastle it all depends on the Goons resolve , but they are a young side , some say it means they play without fear but it also means they dont have the experience to see games out.
2-0 up at Klanfield and controlling the game after 40 minutes and then they crumbled , expect the same at the Etihad in a couple of weeks.
As for pressure its all on the Goons nearly 20 years without a title , we have won four out of the last five titles ,if we dont win this year ,we will be favourites next year. Not sure Arteta can go again

I have been impressed at how well Arsenal have kept it together in terms of results. They do give the impression of being being a bit highly strung so will be interesting to see how they react now their margin of safety has been removed and the pressure starts to ramp up as the business end of the season approaches.

If Arsenal get a result at the Etihad then fair play to them but when did we last have a 'must win' home PL game where we failed to ultimately get the job done? Happy to be corrected but I think it may have been the Spurs game with fourth place at stake at the end of the 2009-10 season.
Leicester at home the year they won it

Hopefully we will prove it again, but these City sides under Pep thrive on situations like this, they don't hide.

There will be one or two nervy games as always, but I honestly think we will win every single game, and that's not getting carried away, I just know what we are made of, and we know how to get through these end of season gauntlets

Arsenal are a good side, but they aren't the Liverpool side we competed with for a few seasons, and I fully anticipate that they will drop a couple more points aside from our game
