Tomorrow's atmosphere in Madrid will put us in good stead for a screaming Goodison on Sunday.
Will be interesting between now and then how many times the media fronted by Neville bring up Rodri's handball from last season though

It’s more whinging and moaning with the odd chant of Everton, Everton, Everton.

Everton were never getting relegated; they never do.
Had they lost tonight, they would have needed to win 2 from 3 to avoid the drop, which they would have done as they always escape.
As they won tonight they only need one win from 3.
Thus our chances of winning at Goodison have just gone up!!
Burnley and Sunderland played that game for years, it eventually caught up with them both.

Imagine if we’d won ten league games in a row, we would have gone to Goodison with even more confidence than they have now.

But there’s no denying today’s result at Brighton has given the Everton players a massive physiological boost and self believe. Another defeat today would have compounded their belief in not winning enough of their remaining games to stay up.

Difficult to know if the Everton result has made it harder for us but the way I see it. FACT : Everton really have to win. That means they will have to play a more open game against us to get anything. That of course could well play into our hands. We wll have more space to do the business so Im looking at it in a positive way.
