Yeah that is the frustrating part. We probably would have turned a couple draws into wins if we had him when Kevin was out.Bellingham especially, or Paquetá, would have made the difference this season.
I guess it depends where you look. They got stronger in the Opta analyst modelI'm a bit surprised to see our odds get longer after winning tonight,
Really….after that performance..?I'm a bit surprised to see our odds get longer after winning tonight,
The way the other two are going we will have to score over 4 per match.
The positive at the moment is we are not conceding many.
If we win every game, we will win the title.
True enough but I wonder how often a team wins the league with an inferior goal difference to their main challenger? We always seem to have a very healthy goal difference when we gather enough points to win the league. As well as being a nice buffer maybe it also is an indicator of how many points you will end up with.In the 50+ seasons since goal difference was introduced in English football, it's been required to decide the champions of the top flight twice.
Of course I'm aware that one of those involved us and that's possibly why a lot of people here seem to get a little stressed about it but while it's a nice buffer to have, history tells us that it's unlikely to be needed once everybody has played 38 games.
