Yeah that is the frustrating part. We probably would have turned a couple draws into wins if we had him when Kevin was out.

Arsenal at the moment in premier look the best team out of us and Liverpool! Still 12 games left have they peaked to early will we peak with 4/6 games left and Arsenal Liverpool drop off? One thing though we can't lose to either Arsenal or Liverpool preferably wins! Feel we put the effort in but the last few years has caught up with us and that sharpness is just not there!

The way the other two are going we will have to score over 4 per match.
The positive at the moment is we are not conceding many.

The thing is the way the other two are going, they are building a bit of a house of cards. It is driven by huge mental and emotional effort and the pressure gets higher each game. But there is a risk of it all tumbling down too, with even the slightest of wobbles.

Liverpool have the klopp last season milestone round their neck, Arsenal have the same in their don't choke again Ricecake. You can see why Pep is saying what he is saying about us, and managing the pressure of expectation.

In the 50+ seasons since goal difference was introduced in English football, it's been required to decide the champions of the top flight twice.
Of course I'm aware that one of those involved us and that's possibly why a lot of people here seem to get a little stressed about it but while it's a nice buffer to have, history tells us that it's unlikely to be needed once everybody has played 38 games.

True enough but I wonder how often a team wins the league with an inferior goal difference to their main challenger? We always seem to have a very healthy goal difference when we gather enough points to win the league. As well as being a nice buffer maybe it also is an indicator of how many points you will end up with.
For better or worse the next 4 or 5 weeks will give us the answers to a lot of questions.
