A draw wouldn’t be an unmitigated disaster but it would leave us needing Liverpool to lose a game (or draw two) Arsenal to draw one, and us to win them all. Feasible, I guess.

No, but to me a win carries the physcological advantage.
I expect us to beat them and if so, i just think it will boost us and in turn, them to drop away.

Funnily enough the rags could be the king makers in all this. Both the arse and the red bin dippers have to go to sold toilet.
I know we take the piss out of there ineptitude but they can pull a rabbit out of the hat occasionally especially with the help of the ref if they need points for CL qualification.

Villa away was our worst game this season. they bossed us more than anyone, 20 shots to them hardly any for us we could have lost by 3-4 goals that game. Emery completely destroyed Pep that game. the intensity the lack of control from us, we didnt have 5-10 mins of good period at all.

today Postecoglou went there and 4-0 in a game where it was for Villa making sure Spurs stays away from the guranteed CL spot for 4th.

I expect more of this when dippers visit Villa...

I now think to with the league this season between 87 and 90 points.
With 3 clubs in the mix with 10 games to go none will get over 90.
City will need to win Spurs to get 90 points but I think 87 points will be enough.

Where do people see Liverpool dropping points

I’ve been pretty good in previous seasons of seeing where they’d mess up but I don’t see it.

They are playing absolutely crap. But winning every week.

We needed to lay a hammer blow today.

United perhaps. Doubtful, but it could happen.

All that aside we need to beat arsenal. End their title charge then focus on winning though and see how it all washes out.

Where do people see Liverpool dropping points

Here's my thoughts... I just think that as the season closes, teams have more to play for and it just gets harder. Why would, for example, Liverpool go from 3-1 up against Crystal Palace years ago to draw 4-4? United were something like 4-1 up against Everton and drew 4-4. We have been 1-2 and 0-2 down to QPR and Villa - it throws up strange results.

Also, the top 3 are VEYR good teams - whoever wins the league fully deserves it, no question. However, looking at Liverpool's fixtures there's a few tricky games where I can see points being dropped:

Brighton aren't an easy - they are a bit Inco consistent but are capable of getting a draw and making it difficult.

United away will be a hard game and I can easily see United getting 3 points. It will be their cup final and they might need a win to keep their delusional CL hopes alive. Playing the FA cup tie beforehand will also fire United up.

West Ham away are one of them teams who can make life hard and defend well, or just take a beating! Moyes does like to spoil the party though and West Ham also might need to win/avoid defeat to get European football

Spurs at home could be another tricky game, especially if Spurs need a win for the CL spots.

Villa away will be hard and again, Villa might need to win/avoid defeat to take a CL spot.

Wolves are another team who've found a bit of form and might need a win for a European spot. They've also pulled results out against Spurs, Chelsea, Villa and ... us.

Of course, Liverpool could easily win all these games but they are also banana skins!

Ive already seen Utd fans saying theyre happy to throw their game against us if it means u or Pool dont win it.
