I wouldn't be so confident that we'll beat Villa and Arsenal at home also, given our record against the top 6 this season, and our home form in general

Form changes. Chances are the team has been prepared to peak in April and May, not in February or March.

We have played a lot of games without KDB, Stones, Haaland and Grealish. Fingers crossed they'll hit top form in the next months. Naturally, they've been a bit inconsistent after the injuries.

Exactly. The concensus was decidedly gloomy at this point. Then I remember thinking to myself, "You know what? This could turn out to be our greatest season ever." After the Champions League final I decided to finally retire from all City related anxiety- nothing can top that season, just enjoy the ride from now on. I'm 59. You can't win everything every year. I still remember the bad times and smile. We are not an entitled fanbase. As for this season, I'm not saying it'll happen again but we have to stand firm and keep the faith. This is a special team and a special club. Four on the bounce would be incredible and if one team can do it, it's us.

Still right in the mix and it will go to the wire, with many twists and turns . yesterday was the minimum result we needed !
All teams will drop points .
We will beat Arsenal ,just like last season.
They’ve only beaten our injury hit side with a deflection.

If Liverpool win the last ten matches then they will deserve to be champions. It has been a very tough season for all clubs with the WC and lots of injuries. But if we can win back-to-back Champions Leagues it will be a fantastic achievement. I think English clubs will probably win all three European trophies. Perhaps that will shut up the Rags fans who keep complaining that modern football is shit.

Agreed, but to paraphrase - he's got to "play the right players necessarily in the right order". Last season he did/could.

Players like Bernardo and Gundo don't grow on trees. The other issue we have had is people playing out position. Alvarez can't play wide and Guardivol can't play left back but both could do well next season in a different formation. The great thing about Pep is he is changes the team continously. We will also need to replace KDB, Walker, and Bernardo soon and we probably also need a specialist left back, despite Ake's good form (apart from yesterday)

Playing Spurs before Arsenal and Liverpool = gutted - we get them at their best - at the end of week they will be fked rocking up to Liverpool...Liverpool 6 : Spurs 0 you wait..whereas when we play 'em...well we know how it usually goes there. They are the king makers not Brighton

We're still in it of course but we need the dippers to drop points and us to be perfect. Just have to hope their injury list doesnt come back any time soon and they slip up somewhere. Arsenal are not last years Arsenal. They seem focused and will have learned from their mistakes. Can't underestimate how important two top class wingers are, something we don't have. Still, 10 games to go and with all 3 still in Europe, it's all to play for.

It's quite a weird season like the 21-22. We would have won nothing that season if not for a 5:36 miracle on the final day.

There are obvious problems.. and we keep shooting ourselves in the foot, other teams are clearly playing better.. for example Liverpool & Arsenal move the ball like we used to.. fast, accurate with purpose..

But we're still in it and it's the 4th season in a row which is unheard of! I think we have run out of our margin for error and will need at least 91 points to win it all. Maybe even 93.

As perplexing at that sounds!
