Don't count on it. They in effect handed us the title. If we're big enough to take it.

Bar Spurs, Arsenal will win their remaining games. We can’t afford a draw. Their goal difference isn’t catchable now. We have to win every game, including Spurs away.

It will be hard to catch them up on goal difference, but they've played two games more. We've picked up +9 in our past three games. So could have the gap down to 6 with 4 games to play and it just takes one big win to eat into that.

Hopefully we win it on points instead!

It's been odd this season in that we've been pretty good and deserving of more points. The late deflected goal at Arsenal, although we were toothless. The late equaliser against Chelsea away. The late equalisers against Spurs and Palace. Even the fairly late goal at home against the dippers. In the majority of those games we were the better side and deserved all three points.

Every season we have results we wouldn't expect, but usually it's through a poor performance. Brentford at home, Everton at home last year for example.

This time around we've been unlucky in quite a few games. Just need that to change now and to get the job done.

This is it. People suddenly writing us off as having been shit all season and not deserving it because arsenal beat a bunch of weaker teams by 3 goals or more.

When we dominated most games, and are only not away with it due to a patch of results where margins went against us and we dropped points very late on.

Contrast that to Arsenal and Liverpool who have both had last gasp wins deep into stoppage time or at the end.

Arsenal had: Brentford, Luton, Brentford(A), Chelsea(A), City (H), that I can think of where they secured points all after the 85th minute and as late as the 97th.

Liverpool have had: Forrest (99th minute), utd, palace(a), city (a), newcastle, where they secured points late, and many of their second goals where they won by 2 were in stoppage time.

We've had some poor luck and bits of poor concentration in the final moments. And we are still in with it being in our hands. How fellow blues can argue we don't deserve it is beyond me. Either way, I'm happy to see the final table in 4-6 games before I get into who deserves what and who has been the best team etc.

This title race will be like the tour the France. Whoever is leading the table on the penultimate weekend of the season wins the title. 3 straight routine home wins on the final day for the title challengers ( yes I know 2012 and 2022 were supposed to be routine)

I wouldn't say letting in 4 goals at Chelsea was unlucky to be honest or 2 at home to palace either. Wank defending more likely.

No but hitting the woodwork twice against spurs and getting nothing out of it while they get 2 goals out of hitting the woodwork was. Having a good goal disallowed against liverpool, a penalty against chelsea not given, grealish stopped through on goal etc etc all was.

Bang average. It should not be anything other than a win.

We know the team has not been at its best this season. Plus we have managed to pull it out of the bag the last few seasons with a long winning run. At some point we won’t be able to do that. Is it this season? Don’t know but stop conceding stupid goals would go along way to boosting support confidence.
