Agree that could be a cricket score if utd down tools..made for this Arsenal side.
I really can’t see Arsenal fucking that one up. United like you say are made for this Arsenal side.

I really hope that pissed away 2 points against Palace at home doesn’t bite us on the arse.

These lads are capable of getting the wins. Just Spurs away that concerns me a bit but only because of our shit record there.

Gutted Arsenal won both games this week. Really thought today would give us room to lose a game and still win the league. Instead spurs fall apart and we struggle with forest so it’s not easy to predict the next 4 games.

In saying all that, why can’t we win all the remaining games? It’s not impossible for this group of players and manager.

No game is a forgone conclusion especially at this point in the season.

Arsenal would much rather be in our position with 2 points ahead, instead of a superior goal difference.

That was a hard watch today. That type of performance is not sustainable.

Fucking Chelsea gifting Arsenal the GD boost, just feel we’re gonna drop 2 points before the end and come down to GD. Don’t think we can make 7 goals back even with game in hand.
Game in hand makes no difference, as we have to draw a game for that to matter, so no GD improvement in that game.

How can Arsenal look more likely we are Champions for a reason.
We know how to close the door!
There maybe a twist but Arsenal will get nervous
Utd away isn’t easy for them Orange minutes
We will be fine if you offered us the need to beat Spurs away to win the league at the season I suspect the majority would take that
Spurs play Burnley on Saturday 11th May before we meet them on Tuesday 14th. Hopefully Burnley are still in with a chance of staying up. Spurs should have some fatigue with 3 nights rest as will we. But we have the better squad and that is crucial at this point of the season.

At the end of the day this is now 2 very good teams going toe to toe for the title….

Whatever the final outcome this season I am immensely proud of this set of players again.

To find the drive to go and win the league again isn’t a given.

We’ve had lots of close races and come out on top in them all. If this is one we don’t come out on top then I for one will say well done Arsenal the better team won in the end

This current unbeaten PL run that we're on. 19 games, I make it. I think most of us would say that we're not playing as well as we did last season. Which is probably true. But the question is ; how many times in those 19 games have you said to yourself; "we got lucky out there, we should have lost"? Reading the match thread this afternoon, I'm guessing there's a few who would say that about today. Which I wouldn't agree with. But I'm struggling to remember a game that we should really have lost (NOT "we didn't deserve to win", that's a different argument). We're a bloody hard side to dominate over 90 minutes to the extent that we should lose a game. I don't know; maybe I'm looking at this question through blue tinted glasses.

It was but Brighton was an easy watch
I suspect the remainder of the season will be similar
But we know how to get it over the line

I think/hope you are right about Arteta. I tend to agree, but wonder whether they can reverse their fortune and have a stronger 2nd half of the season. Not likely, but who knows.. The recency bias may distort the picture somewhat.

Posted this in early January when people didn't think Arsenal could compete.

Unfortunately, Arsenal have managed to do what I feared back then. They have had a very strong 2nd half of the season.

It will be very difficult to better their GD, but not impossible. Wolves, Fulham and W Ham are partly on the beach already. W Ham could have conceded 5 goals vs Liverpool yesterday, they were that poor. Still, better to win the remaining games. Let's hope Spurs won't have a chance for top 4 by the time we play them.
