The Title Race - 2023/24

How many points will be needed to win the league?

Don’t worry about Maguire being injured and out for 3 weeks because…..

Advantage Rags I'd say if Maguire is out.

We'll win there but City will win all their games. They're on autopilot, Title Winning setting so I'll be gobsmacked if they drop points as long as complacency doesn't set in which I doubt Pep will allow to happen.

They Leyland Lion making a comeback then?

Dreading these Fulham and Spurs games.

If we beat Fulham and Arsenal don’t win at Utd then we could win it all at Spurs. Some way to break that stadium’s league voodoo!
Don’t worry mate, I rang yaya‘s agent already.

Talksport on Matterface saying earlier all neutral fans will want Arsenal to win it just for some other team instead of City, think it was Scott Minto on who said I can sort of understand that, but to possibly witness history and a team doing 4 in a row when it hasn’t been done before I’d like to see City do it,someone else can win it next season..
TBH, I can understand both viewpoints. In the early 1980s, I did not have nearly the same loathing of Liverpool as I do now, but I did enjoy them getting beaten purely cos it happened so infrequently.

However, in practice, very few fans are truly neutral. Most have some reason or personal history to prefer one team over the other. My guess is most London fans would want City to win. Scouser/Scum fans opposite.

Villa vs Liverpool might be a very important game for us. If Villa win it, then Spurs wouldn't have a chance for top 4 and could make Arsenal champions by getting a result against us. They are highly unlikely to play at their best then, would be completely pointless.

Let's first do our job vs Fulham, though.
