How many points will be needed to win the league?

They might be, but they've been shite for a while and Arsenal don't have a great record at the swamp still. They've only lost to us at home, beaten Chelsea and Villa and drawn with the dippers and spuds. You never know. But I'm not expecting Arsenal to drop points, more hopeful they don't win by many...which is still a stretch I appreciate.

Ultimately this is all a guessing game, it would be nice to win by 4 or 5 and bring it down to 1 or 2 before they kick off. Just something else to consider for them. In an ideal world we then batter Spurs and it gives us the ability to draw at home to West Ham and still win it potentially.

Or in much more likely City fashion we draw with Spurs and have to beat West Ham by 2 more goals than Arsenal manage at home to Everton and we go and do it!
Thanks to a last minute Ederson penalty

I agree. Saturday is significant in that we can apply pressure for the first time in a long time. Arsenal are still inexperienced when it comes to pressure and to not only win but win by a margin, would most certainly put extra pressure on them at the swamp. The sort of pressure that perhaps leads to them chasing goals and not concentrating on ensuring they just win the game. The gap is 6, get it down to 1 or 2 and they might lose a little bit of confidence, knowing we could potentially draw one and still win the league.

3pts is the focus, but I am convinced the players see things much like the fans at this stage of the season and will be confident they can win the final three but wanting another option just in case.
3pts, big win, Arsenal shit it a the swamp. Perfect scenario.

Everton will get a point at Arse Burton !!

Yeah, I’m not saying we should go all out to win by a huge margin but if we are, say three goals up after an hour (which is perfectly feasible) then we should look to increase what we have rather than preserve it. Think a repeat of Crystanbul is highly unlikely with this team.
I don’t think we ever really change the way we play in terms of how attacking or defensive we are - just formation changes to ensure we keep control of the game.

Big difference in the next few games will be an even sharper focus on taking every single chance we get. That’s what could see us rack up an extremely big win rather than going all-out attack.

Maybe, we'll see.

For now the powers that be have to concentrate on what we can control.

Phone call to Tosin reminding him who developed him and what he needs to do this weekend.
Phone call to big Ange reminding him who gave him the platform to develop his skillset and promise of a nice holiday courtesy of the City Football Group.
Phone call to Paqueta reminding him we want him, but only if he has a stinker on the final day!

Do we know if Manure have Rashford, McTominay and Penandes back? Hopefully a stronger squad than against Palace for them.

I've had a look into the home and away stats and might have to drop the goal difference ambitions!

Fulham have the 10th best home record (W9 D2 L7) but have only conceded 20 goals in 18 home games. Let's say they're due a thrashing to keep some positivity!

Spurs have the 6th best home record (W12 D0 L5) conceding 24 in 17 games. No draw all season at home...can't see that changing when we play them!

West Ham have the 7th best away record (W7 D2 L9) conceding 43 in 18. Best chance on paper.

For Arsenal - Rags (9th at home W9 D3 L5 conceding 25), Everton (10th away W5 D 5 L8 conceding 31).

Now switching back to City mindset and ignoring the above...Rags and Tent Peg up against the ropes, just the sort of game they get a result in. City couldn't score let alone beat Spurs at their new ground, but we've won once and the wins will be like buses.
