Arsenal's first dropped points off of the back of European football with them looking leggy towards the end.

They'll comfortably finish top 4 but no title challenge.

Looking like Liverpool will be thereabouts but they don't look great.

The Dippers will our nearest challengers, but I still think we will win it by 10 points. Their defence is too flaky imo, but I have to admit they have a decent midfield and look very strong in attack.

We held out on that happening in 2022 and they didn’t drop any points during that period Salah was on African Cup of Nations duty. That version of Liverpool was better than this version.

They played about 2 league games when he was away both teams bottom of the league teams

If Liverpool win at Spurs next weekend, they'll challenge for the title, at least until March or so. Unless we win at Anfield, that is.

Arsenal are finding it more difficult now that they are considered among the favourites. Last season was kind of a free hit for them in terms of title challenge. It ain't so now and it shows.

It's too early to tell. We don't know whether we won't suffer from injuries and fatigue after the heights of last season. Rodri losing it yesterday may be down to mental fatigue. Him missing some games now may be a blessing in disguise. Same with Bernardo, KDB, Grealish and Stones.

Arsenal are still a world class centre forward short (as are Liverpool/Spuds/United/Chelsea/Newcastle)

That will cost them all in the end. Think the bin dippers will be our nearest challengers, or Arse. But neither will quite have enough come April/May

I think I was one of them.

They have a good manager and a squad you'd think he could whittle down to a really nice attacking team.

I was wrong, if I got all my football predictions right I'd be spending more than the few quid a week I do on the gambling apps.

Even before the season started, I'm pretty sure I said on here that I couldn't see them mounting a title challenge. For the simple reason, that they had too much ground to make up. They ended up 45 pts behind us last season, and 26 pts outside the top 4. They were never going to make up that sort of deficit in a single season.
