Looking interesting going into the last games of the season. I think our players were more scared to lose the game against you guys than we wanted to win it. It's a testament to how good City are that we were barely able to string a few passes together once we got the ball. We played defensive but City made us play that defensive imo and not many teams can do that to us.

I just cant see where Liverpool will drop any points now. I wish we could play them again and batter them.

Spurs will decide the title looking at all the games left for each club. They play City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Win tomorrow and on Saturday and we have come through a difficult March and early April quite well. We really only have Spurs away as a difficult game and a possible defeat. Liverpool still have to go to Arsenal.
We have already played them twice and taken 4 points off them. The one you are seeing is a friendly after the season ends.

I think United take points off Liverpool at weekend as well.

Correct. Thanks.

Spurs will be belly tickled by Liverpool.

Compete against Arsenal as it's a Derby but lose.

Then play like prime real Madrid against us.

I see these as like a game of pool, in the past the opposition has missed the black and let City clear the table once given the opportunity and motivation. Now we are not at the table and are waiting for mistakes which may never come.

Chances of winning now:

Liverpool
42.55%
City
31.91%
Arsenal
25.53%
Rest <
0.01%

Watching the documentary why oh why didn’t we keep Gundogan one more season? He was only 32, such an influential player.
Possibly but there's also the danger (as happened at Liverpool in the early 90s and United in 2013) of the team ageing overnight and suddenly looking old

Somewhere along the line you need to take stock and try to avoid replacing all your influential players at the same time. That might mean a couple of seasons rebuilding but it keeps you in contention.

Not working extremely hard to keep a mildly petulant but gifted Cole - said all along he has the right character for this and the weekend's game v Arsenal - huge loss i feel - especially in future season's. Creative players are hard to come by

I was in Athens when he scored, and he certainly didn't react as though he was desperate to leave. I thought the whole process seemed a bit weird and too quick, but there were plenty who thought otherwise.

I've not given up on either Nunes or Doku, but Palmer would have contributed more for City this season

I think there's a tad of revisionism going on with Palmer here, as much as I would have liked to keep him.

No as soon as it was muted a lot like me were crying out---try harder to keep him.. Look back at the dates of the Palmer thread. Bad move for City - you need academy quality like that in years to come - 11 years developing him, one bit of sulking and he can waltz out ...terrible from us
