As soon as that spurs game got changed I got the vibes from 2014 where we played villa on the Thursday.
We're smelling blood again and when that happens we are unstoppable.

Just need to get the job done at Fulham and Brighton.

Win them, we can perhaps still afford a draw somewhere if we beat Wolves and West Ham.

Would be confident of getting the goals if needed but the aways still difficult.

The reality is Liverpool and Arsenal can put the pressure back on as both play twice more before we play

Liverpool have

Fulham and Everton

Arsenal have

Wolves and Chelsea.

If both win their games we will be 4 points behind both with 2 games in hand (and a worse GD then Arsenal).

So will need to be perfect against Brighton away (with 9 days rest) and Spurs away (where we have never scored in the league.

I’m of the theory that if either Arsenal or Liverpool win their next 6 they win it. If they drop points then we win it.

Arsenal could potentially still win with 5 wins and a draw due to goal difference.

I think it’s shameful that so many arsenal fans left in droves with 10 minutes to play. It’s a crucial moment in the season and they just upt and left rather than become the 12th player. Anfield sounded weirdly quiet on the telly too.
Anyways… their loss our gain!
Shameful, yes. But I loved it all the same. Especially at Anfield. Those scenes. Everyone shellshocked. I didn't hear any singing towards the end of the match like you normally do. Makes it seem like they know it might be over. We still have work to do. Mentality and belief.

Would be funny if they didn’t win those games though! If those two slip up one more time then it will be over and they will both know that.

What a great weekend! Warrington beating Saints in the Rugby capped it off!

I know people keep saying it’s only 2 points far from over… agreed however.

Psychologically it’s fucking big. They’ll go home tonight seeing City top of the league. I think both will head out of Europe this week and then the pressure on those league games jheeze. It’s going to be tough for them. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if they both drop points again over the next two games.

if we win 5, and draw one thats 89 points. both rivals need perfect 6/6 to match that, albeit they beat us on GD in that case, especially Arsenal if they win 6 more.

I do think one of Fulham, Brighton, Spurs will be a draw for us at least especially if we have 2 more CL games after Real.

but fucking hell if Arse gets 6/6 of their fixture list which still has Wolves, Chelsea, Spurs, rags etc.
dippers more likely to do 6/6 but they just got themselves into shit form and over last 1-2 weeks. if they dont come out of it quick they will drop another 2-3 points soon. draw at old toilet, Atlanta gave them a huge slap, and Palace was not bending over for them today. hope Atalanta takes lot out of them on Thursday and Fulham can relax all week and give them a game Sunday. thats a huge game for Klopp as he can rotate his best players and give up the Atalanta game which is a big task to save from 0-3 down albeit not impossible especially if they score first 20 mins, or he can watch out for the Fulham game but then likely Atalanta advances and put even more pressure on the Fulham game.

My glass is half full.

Yours is half empty.

Do you want a fill of positivity to get you 1/2 full.

Perhaps my xxx years of unbridled rubbish followed by unbelievable success have helped my cause. Getting a draw at OT used to be the promised land for me, 40 points was the holy grail.
I want to share my positivity with those that have only experienced the amazing success we’ve seen since the takeover,
Enjoy.

Maybe but it’s something we will probably need to go through with Pep., but the 2 times Peps done it before he’s won the league.
You might be right. Time will tell. I think Pep will honour his contract, current or future, and leave at the end of it. Without wanting to split hairs I do think there is a difference. Whether the players see it that way is a separate question.

I don't think i've ever been more nervous before and during a match. Maybe Gillingham. Bradford 89 was bad too.

I was more wound up than for the United game that preceded it. I fully believed that we'd beat United. Newcastle seemed a mountain too high.
At the final whistle, I thought, “That's it, the title's ours…”

Hahahahahaha!

And we all play in Europe this week, which could have a significant effect on a teams moral etc, big pressure on Liverpool now to roll the dice at Atlanta, if they were top, sending a weakened team out would be forgivable, they need a win for more than a couple of reasons & have so many players out of form. If Arsenal go out they won’t recover & I reckon the wheels come totally off in those next two league games. Even if we went out to Madrid, we’d have the distraction of a cup game & a week to get it out of our system
