How many points to win the league?

Christ there are some optimists on here. You have to remember it doesn't matter how many points other teams drop as we are dropping more ourselves. Have you not watched the last 10 games? We have less than no chance of winning that league and I will be genuinely astonished if we can get top 4!

I will return to this thread tomorrow evening to witness the reality sinking in!
The game at hand is the final Merseyside Derby at Goodison. I'd like to hope that Everton would put up a better fight than they normally do.

Come on now , even we cant win it from here , after four intense years the players are exhausted

As things stand, we are only two liverpool losses away from it being back in our hands. That's hardly a thing to give up over.

I agree we need to get our own shit sorted and that is probablynthe bigger hurdle at the moment.

But plenty left to play and happen.

We are doomed. May as well sack pep now whilst we can
The truth is somewhere between his opinion and yours.
Arsenal aren't brave enough and Liverpool don't have the quality to maintain such a high level of consistency
However that's the easy bit

Your other post doesn't mention Chelsea and assumes that we'll suddenly find a run of 5-6 victories
Hopefully you've seen something that I haven't

After winning four leagues in a row, you have to have some faith that we can win the league again, especially against teams that have won nothing for a few years

Liverpool lose two games and we’re back
