That's the one,I was in the Kippax that afternoon 6-0 win 48 years ago bloody hell.

Do you remember the episode of coronation street filmed from Maine Rd that season,about 6 of the cast cheering city on at the 6-0 win v Leicester.I remember Annie Walker Len Fairclough Stan and Hilda and also Lucy Hewit I think her name was.Fantastic season and I only missed 2 league games from the 42 played.

I remember it well. I'd got into the ground early (Kippax) and wondered what the cluster of people in an otherwise sparsely occupied scoreboard end were up to when they were all doing rehearsed oohs, aahs and cheers for no apparent reason. It was only when I saw the programme a couple of weeks later that I realised what had been going on.

In the programme some of the cast returning from the match were confronted by a couple of thugs wearing football scarves (whom the script made clear weren't supposed to be rags) and I believe that one of them was the actor who went on to play Boycie in Only Fools And Horses.

It was Boycie but he was supposed to be a Liverpool fan. Annie Walker was arrested as a football hooligan for throwing a toilet roll through a shop window.
