if we are above liverpool in january we can have a chance of buying beayoun and torres (and try and tempt gerrard with untold riches). also if spend smart in jan with 1 big signing (preferably ribery)

A Top 4 spot is ours to lose. We've not played particularly well over the last month or so, what with injuries and trying different players in some positions, but we are still in 4th with a game in hand on the teams directly below us. Top 2 might be beyond us this season, but 3rd is realistic.

We won't finish above Chelsea or the team that beat Barnsley, this season.

Arsenal, while very easy on the eye, will struggle at some point this season. Their continued success this season is based on keeping the first 13-15 players fit. A few injuries/suspensions in certain positions and they are struggling. The kids they've got are superb, but they cannot and will not sustain a challenge with them for a long period of time.

Liverpool are yesterdays men. Far too reliant on 4 players. Carragher is on the wane, Gerrard and Torres need a long rest to recover from injuries and Reina can't do it on his own.

Tottenham, don't make me laugh. They will finish 5th-8th, because they can score and the division is full of average sides. Defensively they are poor and will continue to be so.

Villa have a nice balance but don't have a big enough squad, so are challenging Spuds for 5th-8th.

Next best are Fulham, their consistancy will improve and Roy Hodgson is one of the most under rated managers in the world.
