The Tottenham Thread 12/13

AVB is a bad coach. Bale has saved Spurs yet again. So many times this season he's won points for Spurs with moments of brilliance after the team has been rubbish.

AVB got so much praise after they beat us, but we dominated that game until their equalizer and I'm sure had more been riding on it we'd have been 2 or 3 up by half time. Yet all we heard afterwards is what a tactical genius AVB is. He's the biggest fraud in football.

Can't believe teams still let him get in on his left foot. Reminds me of Robben, exact same trick.

Not for the first time this season, Bale secures the points for Spurs after a mediocre performance.

The Saints can count themselves very unlucky to leave the Lane empty-handed.

We will have to play very much better than this on Wednesday at Chelsea if we are serious about our Champions League aspirations.

I can't see you making 4th. Either way I think Bale will be off to pastures new in the summer.

Well we're still in with a very good shout and we've just set a new club Premier League points record (65) after 35 matches played.

Everything is in our hands.

Then you need to pick up the performances and stop being so over reliant on one player.

Or Messi, that's exactly what Messi had done 1344 times so far - left, then little bit left, then a bit more left - shot.
Much more to his game than that. If you watch Bale on one of those youtube montages it's that same routine over and over. He's very good at it, like Robben is, but it's not impossible to defend. United prevented him from doing it at WHL where he was anonymous.

He seems to be unplayable at times, whatever defenders do.
