The ref in the spurs game is a JOKE. worst i've seen in awhile

You wont be saying that after Foys fucking mare mate..

Oh and by the way...

Ta ra Dave the yid..

Poor result really, but I could see it happening. It's going to take time for this team to gel. Losing Modric and VDV is going to be some task to fill!

Hopefully Levy gives AVB plenty of time

How they could sack Harry for AVB i will never understand

Arry did it to himself with England fiasco and losing CL spot while being easily 3rd for whole season. There was probably too much bad blood after Levy's money demands turned FA from Redknapp.
Levy and Harry never seemed to like each other. When there is that strong a dislike then something is always going to give.

AVB will get plenty of time especially with them failing to secure Moutino. That has messed up Tottenham's start of the season. A midfield with Bale, Lenno, Sandro, Dembele and Moutinho in time would have been very dangerous. It's a shame for them, because Arsenal need time to gel as do Liverpool. It was a great opportunity for them to push and get 3rd. Have not seen Tottenham this year, but Walker gave away so many goals last year. He really needs to improve his concentration and positioning.

AVB's should either have got rid of all of the old guard or just accepted things for the season. He did try to change things too soon, but things actually fell apart when he tried to compromise with the team. The high line was killing them in defence, but at least it allowed them to create lots of chances. Without the high line the defence was still bad, but they did not create as much.

I doubt it and nor should he. He said last week that he accepted that job knowing the expectation was top 4. He can't hide behind any cliched arguments about needing time etc, when he's been through and interview process in which he's been clearly told what is expected of him and accepted the job on those terms. If he wasn't aware of how Levy operates in the transfer market or the quality of the players in the squad already, then he's only got himself to blame. If he gets the sack people will feel sorry for him and accuse Levy of not giving him time. No one will mention he signed a very lucrative contract that was offered to him after he made it clear he could match their expectations. The real disgrace will be if he gets a big pay off. Yet no one will talk about that.

Poor from AVB today. Should have started Dembele and Ade, could have generated some excitement in the ground but instead started Livermore and Defoe who shouldn't be near our first team. Then slow start made everyone feel like shit and it affected the team.

Needs to learn a thing or two about psychology that AVB. Also poor substitution by bringing off Sandro instead of Livermore imho.

Am I right in thinking Ade hasn't played a minutes football so far ? You can understand why he wasn't picked. If Levy wasn't such a tight arse you could have had him earlier and he would have been fit to play.

Well no Ade played last weekend against WBA as a substitute and trained the whole week.

My bad, it's just AVB being fucking useless then.

AVB must have a hell of a PR team cos how a manager than bad can blag so many top jobs is beyond me.

AVB Record:
PORTO:
- Games played: 51
Win:45,Draw:4,Lost: 2,Goal For: 135 ,Goal Against: 36 -Win% 88.24

Unbeaten in the league at Porto, won 4 trophies in one season and youngest manager in history to win a European trophy. He's a top manager, just maybe not in England.

Anyone think I could get a job on his PR team?

He was head coach and not manager. Also they'd won the league in 3 of the last 4 seasons under the previous coach. They'd always been in the knockout stages of the CL, so couldn't compete in the Europa Cup. They won the Portuguesse Cup but had won it the 2 previous seasons.

He had a good season, but to what extent he was responsible is very hard to tell. He certainly didn't build a team. He had a great league season, but their chief rivals both sold their star players and to make things worse, one of those players was sold to Porto themselves. If you actually check their cup runs, they didn't play a single top class team. The level of competition was very poor. All he really did was win a league, that they've won in 8 of the last 10 seasons.

i'm a bit confused...i was watching him put together a team at chelsea and was a tad worried...in my view he made outstanding buys and i felt over the next few yrs he would put chelsea back as a top force. he approached the mafia of the chelsea old boys and that sealed his demise. i for one was happy, i felt chelsea fucked up getting rid

imagine my distain when he rocked up at spuds.....i THOUGHT he was the one !

maybe i know fook all about football? don t think his buys this time are as good and i think he s not as good as i first thought

Dembele is a fantastic player and Dempsey raises our profile in the United States and he did score plenty of goals last year.

Sigurdsson's a class player in my opinion and Lloris is awesome on Fifa but haven't seen much of him apart from youtube videos.

Good window in the end, Would have been fantastic with Moutinho but we did clear some of the deadwood out.

its ok spurs fans, dempsey raises your profile in the united states - panic over
