Daily Fail reporting that Levy wants Adebayor to be part of the Bale Deal.

So they can pay £105 mil for Bale, or £85 mil for Bale and Adebayor!!

Shoot me down in flames, but I sincerely doubt that Daniel Levy would get on the blower to the Daily Mail to discuss the intricate details of any potential deals.

Even more importantly Perez would quite rightly say "Levy, you should be paying us to get rid of that lazy lump of your squad list".

He is, looks like he will knock £20 million off the price of Bale if they take Ade

Re: The Tottenham Thread 13/14

Tottenham Hotspur have drawn Dynamo Tibilisi in the UEFA Europa League Play-Off Round.

Spurs play the second leg at home.

The teams met before when Dynamo were part of the Soviet Union in the 1973-74 UEFA Cup.

Spurs drew 1-1 away with Ralph Coates scoring and won the home leg 5-1 with goals from Chris McGrath, Martin Chivers (2) and Martin Peters (2).

Spurs were losing finalists that season to Feijenoord.

Re: The Tottenham Thread 13/14

The Barclays U21 Premier League 2013-14 kicked-off tonight and Spurs had a fine 4-2 win away at Chelsea (played at Aldershot's ground).

Iago Falque scored a brace and Shaquile Coulthirst & Harry Kane scored the other goals.

Spurs U21s finished last season as Premier League Champions.

At least 4 places better than your over 21s will finish this season then... It's a shame the U21 league isn't particularly competitive, otherwise it might have indicated there was hope for you.

The current format is far more competitive than it used to be.

A change for this season is that all 22 participating clubs will play each other once (21 games in the regular season) and the Top Four clubs will then play-off for the Title.

Up to three overage outfield players can be on the pitch for each club at any one time, plus an overage goalkeeper.

Spot on...definitely is a much better level of competition when in with the next-gen series.
