I think City lost around €9.5 million on Balotelli,
How do you work that out?

After weeks of speculation Inter reached an agreement for Balotelli's transfer to Manchester City on 12 August 2010 for €29.5 million

On 29 January 2013, A.C. Milan's organising director Umberto Gandini announced that the team had agreed a deal to sign Balotelli from Manchester City on a four-and-a-half year deal rumoured to be worth €20 million plus bonuses and add-ons.

But our gross spend is always the one mentioned by the press, not net, should it not be the same for you?

Put it this way? Did we spend £20m on Balotelli or nothing as we sold him for the same?

I think City lost around €9.5 million on Balotelli, although you might get a bit more back if he meets various "add-on" targets with AC Milan.

City's net spend during the past five years is around £390,150,000 compared with Tottenham's £7,650,000 in the same period.
and that one Aguero moment......... priceless

...but I much prefer the Crouch one.

Follow the link then you disingenuous little twunt. :-)

Here it is: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.ju29ro.com/contro-informazione/2714-inter-una-tripletta-in-rosso.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.ju29ro.com/contro-informazio ... rosso.html</a>

That is the citation on the wiki page that you posted, click on it, do it now and you will see a page, in Italian that states (from their accounts which they HAVE to publish):

determinato in via prevalente dalle plusvalenze pari ad euro 44.059.770 generate dalla cessione dei diritti pluriennali relativi ai calciatori tra cui spiccano Mario Balotelli (21,8 milioni) e Nicolas Burdisso (7,6 milioni).

So I shall keep my gold star and laugh at you being a prong.

My point is that you're more than happy to count the £16,505,000 Spurs paid Dinamo Zagreb for Luka Modric, but not the £33,300,000 we received from Real Madrid for him.

To say that Spurs have spent half a billion pounds during the Premier League Era is simply false.

Our actual spend to date has been £175,309,820.

Quite a difference, I'm sure you'll agree?

but won nothing, you should use the spending half a billion on 2 league cups argument, after all the game is about glory!

Well......................................

The contemporary BBC report gives the fee paid by City for Balotelli as £24m, which corresponds to the figure Wiki had in Euros before it was tampered with.

Tampered with? It states 21.8m Euro's and the citation it gives states the same. Do you disagree with the citation stating 21.8m euros?

As I say, you are a wum and you lie. I'd call you more but de niro wouldn't be happy. You post a wiki link and yet you are not happy with the figure that is on wiki and the figure wiki's citation gives.

I couldn't give a fuck what the BBC say about it. I'd rather use the public accounts of Inter that they publish.

How strange that you're happy enough to use media reports when it suits you to call me a "lying twat".

But simply dismiss them whenever they don't suit your argument.

The media report giving Inter's published accounts. Yes, funnily enough I am.

Funny that you try and bump the figure City paid up though eh? By the way, ever encountered the phrase "you fucking hypocrite"?

It's all going to be irrelevant all this net spend shit very soon anyway, MCFC's turnover is already eclipsing little Tottenhams turnover to some tune, in fact City's turnover has already overtaken Milans and Liverpools in the Delloitte list.

City will soon be turning very healthy profits and won't have to rely on selling there star players to cook the books- hence making all this shitty Tottenham fan "The right way" flushed straight down the crapper.

You last won the league in the early fifties, we've won it more recently than you even before the money turned up.

They will be battling for fourth again,at best.

Agree. But they've made themselves a strong favourite for that.

I still fancied Arsenal a week ago, but I wasn't expecting Spurs to spend so much. The only consolation in them getting 4th would be Arsenal failing. It might actually be worth it, just to see the brouhaha at the Emirates when it happens.
