Willian update

Willian is still a Chelsea player
Nah mate, signed to spearhead an attack with Bale and David Villa.

Title contenders this season.....

Also may I just point out how right we (non spurs fans based in Israel) were when we stated that Spurs were spending the Bale money before they sold him despite the protestations about how they had "x" amount to spend from Lewis and saved up from previous season.

Today is a good good day.

Bale will still be sold so money isn't and never been an issue. I'm surprised people are getting so giddy
I said all along you were spending the Bale money first and at least one fan was insistent that was untrue as you could afford to spend without selling him.

But it's amazing how the amount spent will match the amount also received.

I think you have done good business to be honest, my point is that the other guy was deluded.

They've done great business. Bale is worth nowhere near the amounts being bandied around.

It's because, in general, City and Spurs fans don't get along. The main reason is because THFC6061 gets his comeuppance, but people won't admit to that.
I'll admit to it. I've seen what he has posted elsewhere about the club and us.

Where is that massive liar now? 0161, where are you?????

Bale money spent up front. Books balanced. 5th place is yours this season.

I still think we can challenge for 2nd/3rd without Bale as If you look at the spine of our side when compared to City for example, I personally believe we have the edge.

Lloris or Hart = Lloris

Vertonghen or Kompany = Vertonghen

Paulinho or Yaya Toure = Draw

Lamela or David Silva = Draw

Soldado or Aguero = Draw

haha fuck me, you haven't even signed Lamela yet(if at all)! Vertonghen better than Kompany?! deluded doesn't come close.

The most deluded post on this thread and that's going some.

Lloris over Hart with Harts current form is hard to argue, but the rest is deluded beyond belief.

I knew Spurs had some seriously deluded fans(TFHC6061) but you're abusing that privilege.

You have to be wumming, please tell me you're wumming.

WHat utter cock that is. Kompany and Aguero are better and Silva and Yaya are adapted to the PL already. Thats scouse levels of delusion.

That level of delusion surpasses that of any Spurs fan. I cannot help but think you are not a Spurs fan.

Joe lewis gave spurs a 50m interest free loan so we wouldn't get pipped for fourth again. Paulinho, Soldado and Chadli were bought in for 50m pretty much straight off the bat.

Spurs have made it clear they want a bale replacement as well as strengthening other areas. Hence the willian bid and lamela interest. Some posters mentioned erikesen too

This Madrid stuff has dragged on a long time, it didn't help Madrid bidding only a few days ago leaving it late. I'm sure bale will be sold soon but I have no idea of the fee. 75-86m?

Chiriches: "I felt like crying when Steaua rejected the first offer from #THFC. For two days I couldn't think of anything else."

As for the Vertonghen and Kompany comparisons: Jan was voted into the PFA Team of the year in his debut PL season.

Paulinho also won the Bronze Ball in the confederations cup ahead of some world class midfielders.

Soldado will score more than Aguero this season and Lamela's productivity and creativity is a level above of David Silva's in my opinion.

As interesting as these comparisons are, I think it's better to see where the respective clubs finish at the end of the season.

Last season, City were far superior to Spurs.

This season?

Only time will tell.

Never been a fan of player comparisons. Most would say united had an average squad last year but they won a title, but people would swap the team for theirs!
