Also may I just point out how right we (non spurs fans based in Israel) were when we stated that Spurs were spending the Bale money before they sold him despite the protestations about how they had "x" amount to spend from Lewis and saved up from previous season.

Bale will still be sold so money isn't and never been an issue. I'm surprised people are getting so giddy

I said all along you were spending the Bale money first and at least one fan was insistent that was untrue as you could afford to spend without selling him.

But it's amazing how the amount spent will match the amount also received.

I think you have done good business to be honest, my point is that the other guy was deluded.

It's because, in general, City and Spurs fans don't get along. The main reason is because THFC6061 gets his comeuppance, but people won't admit to that.

Lloris over Hart with Harts current form is hard to argue, but the rest is deluded beyond belief.

Joe lewis gave spurs a 50m interest free loan so we wouldn't get pipped for fourth again. Paulinho, Soldado and Chadli were bought in for 50m pretty much straight off the bat.

Spurs have made it clear they want a bale replacement as well as strengthening other areas. Hence the willian bid and lamela interest. Some posters mentioned erikesen too

This Madrid stuff has dragged on a long time, it didn't help Madrid bidding only a few days ago leaving it late. I'm sure bale will be sold soon but I have no idea of the fee. 75-86m?
