I think this thread proves that the only benefit of having a Spurs related one is to highlight on a regular basis why we dislike them so much. There fans are fucking insufferable enough at the best of times but graph boy takes it to another level!

This failure to accept the fact that Bale is leaving Spurs is so similar to how I clung on until the bitter end over the Isco saga. Everyone else could see he was going to Real, but I just wouldn't accept it. Blind faith! Bale is gone, replacements have been sought. Spuds should be stronger for it. Whilst Bale had a blinding season last year Spurs still finished outside of the top 4. No team can rely on one man (unless perhaps that man is Messi). Spuds will be better if they can add a few with some of the Bale cash. It depends if the cash is available or Levy hides it.

I think after the Willian saga you might want to hold on a little until he's holding up a shirt at your ground, infact after Willian I'd hold on until he runs out onto the pitch actually wearing a spurs shirt.


Today the London Evening Standard newspaper claimed Lamela was already in England to undergo a medical.

However, Sky Sport Italia spoke to Lamela later this afternoon and he assured them he was still in Rome.

That was confirmed at 17.00 UK time when he joined his teammates for a training session at Trigoria.
