Domestic treble would be a stunning achievement, but anyone arguing that the League Cup is equivalent to the CL is letting winding United fans up go to their heads.

I'm not sure people are saying that - winning the domestic treble would be a unique achievement in English football in the 58 years that the League Cup has been going and as such would certainly rival the rags treble.

The treble has always been and always will be the domesic treble. Which has never been done.

The treble the rags did was a treble, and a fine achievement to boot. They did so by qualifying for the Champions league by finishing second in the League. It was around this time that they stopped claiming only the Champions should go in the champions league.

I’m gutted like everyone else however if we play like that Saturday and against Utd we will win the league
