The truth about Silva is that he is quite partial to a hollands meat and potato pie with chips, mushy peas, gravy and a buttered barm.
He allegedly had this at around 4pm yesterday leaving him feeling a little heavy for the game.

The truth about Silva is he's world class. It's also true he hasn't been as effective in the second half of the season. Probably because of the niggling injuries he's carrying. And unfortunately with it being the Euro's, he's not going to get the summer to repair his body properly.

Take Silva out of the starting eleven and much of the creativity goes with him. Having said that, with him sitting on the bench last weekend, we could have been 3-0 up after four minutes! More of the condundrum that is MCFC!
Silva & NDJ should never be in the starting lineup. Today Silva is manmarked twice with NDJ (a human pylon) not offering much of an outlet.
It stands to reason why Silva is off the boil ever since they were paired up.
Barry & NDJ should also never be in the starting lineup.

Silva/Milner/Barry/Yaya/Nasri/Pizaro/AJ combo offers the midfield creativity & punch.
When is Mancini going to realize that?
By taking out NDJ in the dying moments of the match or season to play winning football?

he saw plenty of the ball today, more than any other attacking player pretty much and he was absolutely shite.
completely unacceptable from a player of his quality and we can't afford to carry our best player as a passenger, not at this stage of the season.
