With pelle saying he will decide within the next week regarding keeping/selling Barry/lescott/kolarov the number could increase. Would be happy enough to keep lescott and barry but not sure they would be happy being bit part players. We don't need to replace maicon. If Sinclair leaves jovetic will be a huge upgrade. If kolarov leaves a younger lower wage player would be ideal because clichy has the lb 80% of games,so keeping kolarov or replacing him with a higher profile lb would be a waste of money. Tevez still needs replaced(Ibra/Suarez/Negrado). Personally a right footed cb for cover to replace kolo should be brought In as Garcia and Micah rant convincing,maybe Micah is ok but not on a regular basis.

So overall: tevez replaced with (Ibra/Suarez/Negrado)
: Sinclair for Jovetic
: kolarov for young lb
: Garcia out no replacement needed
: kolo for backup cb
: maicon no replacement needed.
: keep both Barry & lescott

That's my opinion but I'm not making the decisions thankfully. But still think it will be 3 potentially 4 more on the way in.

We would need to buy him back from Liverpool though!

Don't think we'll bring in Jovetic as a striker, personally. Reckon we'll use him as a winger or AM.

Ibrahimovic, Jovetic and a back-up CB, and we're good to go IMO.

I think the 'Guidetti out on loan' conclusion is based on Pellegrini's comment, that he's looking to bring in another striker, possibly two. If Dzeko, as recent reports are suggesting, will stay, that means we will have five strikers and I don't think we'll buy a new striker destined for the reserve squad. Thus, Guidetti is the one most likely to be made available for loan.

I hope John will be fit soon enough and will regain quality enough to be our fourth.

He did, but I doubt we will be in for yet another right winger, with Milner, or even Sinclair, still in the squad.

Marquee signing? I'm not sure that'll happen. Tranny will stay at Madrid until next summer, then he'll go back to Trafford.
Bale will stay one more year with spurs, then go to Madrid to replace Tranny.

Messi... well that goes without saying.
So, who'd be the marquee player??

Vidal would be awfully nice, but is he a big enough name to be labelled marquee?
