The Ultimate Rock Icon.

Re: The Ultimate Rock Icon.

There are many rock Icons, although Alex Turner whoever he is cannot lay claim to being one.

Not according to the NME readers.

Well they're all cunts then.

How can you have an ultimate rock icon contest then put fucking popstars in it.

Dave Grohl is a great shout, different genres and an extremely talented bloke.

How anyone can argue with Hendrix is beyond me.

Kurt Cobain ? Iggy ? Bon Scott ?

Re: The Ultimate Rock Icon.

Bowie and Turner instead of Morrissey and Cobain?!?!?

I'd seen the last 8 and presumed Lennon and Liam would be there, but how these Indie cunts have gotten Turner in there is dismaying. Bowie's alright, but he's not on par with Morrissey or Cobain.

Keith Moon

Better than Bonham in my opinion, but he wasn't on the original list.

I was going to suggest Keith Moon too.

If only mainly for the fact that his life story equates to being incredibly gifted, manic and burning out to an early demise.
