Liam Gallagher is hardly a rock icon. Maybe in the U.K. but on a World scale?

Bon Scott, Bowie, Neil Young and Iggy Pop for the older generation and maybe Vedder and Axl Rose of more recent times. Lifestyle and 'the look' has to count towards it as well as the music.
