The unlikely hero in the final.

i will find u better odds then 35/1 reckon i could get you near 20/1 for him just to score in the final.

i absolutly love NDJ and vinney but SWP seen as hes played all them years ago when we truley were a pile of wank :D

In spite of the fact that he's not half the player he was, and he couldn't cross a ball if his life depended on it, and he's almost certainly leaving at the end of the season for SWP to score the winner would mean so much. I realised that when I saw him warming up at Wembley.

He, more than any other current player including NDJ, Vincent and PabZab, both loves and gets City, and it would mean that he was leaving the club in the manner that his feelings towards it deserve.

I know theyre just words, but didnt swp just say that he wanted to finish his career at city?

Yeah - that's about as unlikely as you'll get............and so ends this thread.

Barry, was great in the s/f! Get some positivity round ya, negativity is soooo overrated.

Yeah - Hart was great too - but I doubt he'll score either! (actually Barry wasnt great)

Anyway, just rec'd confirmation of my Cup Final Ticket, sooooooo in a very optomistic mood now........................

Emphasis on the ''he wanted'' bit. Not so sure RM will want him to stay. And if he does, he'll be a squad player at best. Will SWP be happy with that?

i think if he is ok with riding the bench most of the time, mancini will keep him on board.
