His attacking play down the left is what we need. What we don't need is his lack of defence.
Maybe i was a bit blunt before. I hate his defensive ethics (or lack of it). His attacking play i have no problems with. But i find it hard to believe that his lack of tackling and tracking doesnt frustrate any of you???
The only thing that frustrates me are twats with inane comments who obviously know nothing about football. The inference that we would have been worse off than we actually are if Petrov had played despite the fact that he either scored or set up 65% of our goals last season just says it all.
Hmmm...yes thats exactly what i said isnt...we'd be worse off. I just dont think he'd make that much difference. My point is he might make more goals or oppertunities but i think we'd concede even more than we are doing because he cant defend.
65% you my friend are an insane plum. He scored 5 and set up 9 that's 14. City scored 45 as a team thats 30%.
Who would you take out?
Ireland...scored 7 set up 6 at halfway
SWP...our best right winger if not only right winger scored 3 set up 5
Kompany...we need his classy defensive play
Robinho floats around the pitch...scored 11 set up 3
*oh and they all tackle or at least track back a fair bit in robinho's case
