Goal Keepers:
Shay Given is an immense shot stopper, he's won us points on his own! However the fact he does not come to collect crosses will not suffice when we are attempting to win the Prem and the Champs Lg i think we will need the ULITMATE goal keeper then! But for now when we are banding about in upper mid table region in the Prem he is more than good enough in our goal!
Defence:
Lescott is the best defender at the club! I thought with every game he played he got better and better with us and will be great ongoing!
However Bridge (poor positioning, makes Lescott do a 2 jobs too often, loses the ball alot, goes swanning off on runs too often), Toure (shit!!! end of!!! nothing anyone can say will change my mind on this! And CAPTAIN!? I dont think so!), Richards (better of late but no! He is not a top 6 Prem Lg footballer - control/passing/dribling/defending is not of a high enough standard - but id love to see him do well!), PabZab (average-good player), Silvinho (past it), Onuoha (see Richards' () they will be bottom half Prem level players)!
Kompany will be a good back up player for defence or midfield for a while to come like him a lot! would actaully prefer him - if he's fit - to Toure!
Players needed: a left back (the lad at Marseille is the one who's impressed me the most over the last few years), a right back (Maicon, dunno who else), and a centre back (a hard-man Vidic/Terry style centre back to play alongside Lescott who isnt scared to put his head in the way of a volley - again who i dont know!)
Midfield:
I think we need someone to put the shits up Ireland and tell him he needs to improve! If this happens i am more than happy with our midfield! It is the 2nd best in the Prem behind Chelsea!
Forwards:
Im well impressed with Tevez but seriosly not with Adebayor - his work rate, his effort, his run making, his passing and overall package for me is quite poor! His finishing is good and he's good at defending corners but i think we need a better main striker to play with Tevez!
But who? Drogba or Torres obviously! But realistic targets????
