Shame about the arse. When I lived in London Highbury was a decent stroll away and I used to trundle down from time to time so have a bit of a soft spot for them. I also respect the way they try to play and have clapped in awe when they were three nil up at our place within fifteen to twenty minutes a couple of years ago.
However.
The bitterness of the reaction to us scooping up their better players is rather sad...... Hey ho.

Same here. Flew out of Liverpool that afternoon. Bitterly disappointed, but work meant I had no choice. Had already taken the monday off without pay (annual holidays are at a fixed point in the summer and at Christmas, and can't be taken when you want).
