The Waiting List

This a very confusing. I believe there are going to be about 7500 new seats available next season and also some people not renewing......so how can 5862 be borderline.....am I missing something here??????.

Because we'll be losing many of our current season ticket holders from level 2 east and CB and they'll be moving elsewhere in the stadium.

But you are referring to current season ticket holders.....wherever they end up sitting in the ground is not a factor. Surely this does not affect the 7500 and non-renewed seats available next season.

Of course it will make a difference. We gain a few thousand extra seats on SS level 3. We will lose ??? seats to premium (unless people on the waiting list want to choose the premium which I doubt). So the number of seats priced reasonably probably won't increase as much as we had hoped.

Anyone know how many seats will be priced at premium?

Sorry if this has been covered already but I went on the list virtually straight away, I have a Season Card in East level one and was hoping to get the seat next to me for my wife, however with the price increases it's not now looking like I won't be able to afford it once I've renewed mine. So does anyone know the score with the £100 deposit I've paid, do I wave goodbye to it or can it be used as a credit to future cup games on my Season Card, cheers

I thought there were 7500 new seats available and not as you mention ''We gain a few thousand extra seats on SS level 3''. Totally confused but going out shopping now so we will see what happens over the next few months.

I said a few thousand as I wasn't sure of the exact numbers but it could well be 7500. But we'll be also losing a few thousand (again not sure on the numbers) normally priced seats to premium. So not as many on the waiting list will have the option of a season ticket for next season and will probably have to wait until NS level 3 is done.

Of course quite a few on the list could drop out if they aren't able to get the cheaper tickets.

Time will tell. My daughter is on the list but quite well down so extremely unlikely that she'll get one for next season.

I can't see the North Stand being done at that rate as there will thousands who give up this season too.

Bet you're wrong, on both points

The second happens every season anyway, but I'll take a friendly wager.

The people on the list that have spoken to the club have been told around 5500, are borderline for this year that would still leave 4000 on the list,I'm not sure that takes into account the 2000 that usually don't renew so maybe nearer 2000 left on the list definately a good enough base to plan the other extension of around 6000.

I think a lot assumed they'd get the cheaper tickets but as it now seems unlikely there'll be enough of those to go around, it wouldn't surprise me to see quite a number of people on the list not taking up their option to buy a season ticket.

I have a feeling the shit is going to hit the fan when the waiting list starts getting offered the tickets. I think people who have signed up in price brackets will end up being informed they have missed out and getting offered seats at substantially more than they expected. As for everyone thinking they may get a £299 seat these will be has hard to get as Derby tickets.

I think there are actually more £299 seats than expected with around 65% of the South Stand third tier at this price point.

A lot of the people moving from the sides already pay the highest price point anyway, so I doubt they'll be swapping their seats simply to get the cheapest seats in the ground. They'll be getting the £600 seats at the front of the new tier and maybe the £380 ones as well in order to retain the best possible view.

Even when £299 seats are running out, £380 is still an amazing price to watch a team of City's standard. If the £299 & £380 seats run out.....that means we've pretty much sold out!
An extra £220 to sit one row in front of the £380 seats, i think those £600 seats will be the last to go
The £380 seats will be the first to be sold without a doubt...
