Anyone agree?

love the wedding present and george best is one of my favourite albums,no fillers on this baby, all in your face and nowhere fast is one of my all time greatest songs......

just counted 21 wedding present cd's plus 2 tribute to.. in my collection - dont think ive listened to any of them for donkeys years

Top band!, bizzario and seamonsters are my fave albums.I remember too trying to get all those 12 singles!.I think i managed 10 of them, still got them in my loft somewhere. They did a cover of 'Step into christmas' by elton on the 12th single if my memory serves me correct?

yep, step into christmas was the bside on the December 7inch! That whole release was ridiculous. Great songs, great covers, ridiculous marketing. If memory serves, you could buy each single or a double lp, and I think each album was also sold separately?? I'm sure the label loved that idea....

the first song I heard of theirs, Mtv 120minutes turned me on to a lot of good music

I thought Take Fountain was the best they had done in years....Interstate 5, I'm From Further North Than You and this tear-jerker was amazing...

David Gedge was born in Leeds but spent his childhood in Middleton.
His mum is a manc.
Went to Hollins High in Middleton with Pete Solowka, they formed TWP while at Leeds Uni.
David is definitely a Un***d fan while Pete adopted Leeds as his team while at Uni.
There is an interview with David in this months Un***d magazine, so nine of us will see it.
The current tour is a Bizarro tour, but they are playing a few new songs and a new album is planned for next year.
2012 might see a Seamonsters tour, which is possibly one of the greatest albums of all time.
