One rag said to me "All you are is a rich man's play thing, and when he gets bored you'll be left in the shit"

Rather than getting into any conversation or debate, I shrugged my shoulders and replied with "Well I'm just going to have to make the most of it whilst he's here then"

When someone says that to me I just reply:

"It was being bored that made him buy the club in the first place, you fucking halfwit. Why on earth would he walk away?"

Whilst this is factually incorrect, I find it serves my ends far better than explaining the strategic plans of ADUG, as people only hear what they want to hear, I'm afraid.

Factually incorrect or not, that's a quality line to use lol.

A mate of mine has a good one up his sleeve whenever he comes across any Rags who don't know his background with regards to following City:

"I've only been following them since the money came in".

That's been known to wind a fair few of them up!

The figure bandied about when Sheikh Mansour took over was £400 billion, IIRC.

As for when the arabs get bored, I said there's always FIFA 12 where he can select new players to buy before we do so in reality.
